A new version of Opera Web Browser Opera 12 has been released.
This version of Opera features and enchantments including, HTML 5 drag n’ drop support, experimental hardware acceleration WebGL support, do not track and many others.
Installation:
You can directly download the .deb package of Opera from their website download page.
If you are trying to upgrade Opera or geek enough to install it using terminal, you can use the below commands in terminal:
Press Ctrl – Alt – T on your keyboard to open Terminal.
wget -O- http://deb.opera.com/archive.key | sudo apt-key add -
sudo sh -c 'echo "deb http://deb.opera.com/opera/ stable non-free" >> /etc/apt/sources.list'
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install opera
Now, you should be able to enjoy the new version of Opera browser in Ubuntu!
